AF 650

AF 650 is a blend of high-molecular-weight biopolymers, used to increase viscosity in water base systems and as a borehole stabilizer to prevent reactive shale and clay from swelling and sloughing. Small quantities provide high viscosity and weight material suspension for all water base mud systems, with the unique ability to produce a fluid that is highly shear thinning and thixotropic.
