AF Sand Mix
Sand Mix is a cultured multifunctional 31kg one bag mud system. Sand Mix is a blend of clays, Rheology Modifiers and water treatment additives.
Sand Mix is used in diamond core drilling to protect any revealed unconsolidated formation by forming a thin stable filter cake in the annulus space and facilitates keeping the core intact.
Sand Mix is not affected by hard, brackish or contaminated water and is PH stable. Sand Mix is also used in large diameter tricone and flood reverse drilling for exceptional hole cleaning, improved rate of penetration, improved hydrostatic pressure on the annular space and forms a firm filter cake.
