AF Drillsafe

AF Drillsafe is a biodegradable non-ionic natural polymer for use in a variety of drilling applications as a viscosifier, especially where clay-based drilling fluids are restricted. When mixed with fresh or salt water it provides clay-free drilling fluid. In lower concentrations it can be used as a flocculent to drop clay particles. It can be cross-linked to form a gel structure during casing installation in troublesome formation.
